Momma's Boys:

The Home Depot Guys:

My brother works for Home Depot so for Christmas he got the boys their own aprons and some kid's building sets. We had an awesome night eating pizza and building stuff:

I figured I should take a picture to show "sometimes" guys do stop to read directions!

Random funny things said by Mr. Intelligent in just one afternoon on the car ride home:

"Do you know where South America is? Its a city where Captain America lives."

"If I ever meet Batman, I'm gonna ask him for his autograph on my jacket."

"One hundred years ago, George Washington used to teach people how to sing songs to Jesus, like 'Rise Up Lazarus'

"Me and Jesus have the same hair only his is curly."

"I'm gonna let Jesus live in my heart so that when I die I can live again longer in heaven. Cause I wouldn't like being dead all day long, it would make me have nightmares."

"When you die, first your eyes start to slowly close, and then your mouth opens, and then you die, and people burry you in the ground, and then you go to heaven and eat dinner with Jesus."

Wow. Talk about a brain going 100 miles a minute!

Happy 2nd Birthday Prince Charming!

I can't believe another year has come and gone. It has really flown by. I officially no longer have a baby, my baby is now a toddler and this makes me super sad. Anyways, here are some pictures from his story book themed birthday party last night.

Starting with party food:

Hop on Pop Popcorn:

One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish:

These were originally supposed to be book worms but Mr Intelligent decided they looked like caterpillars to him:

Green Eggs and Ham:

If You Give A Mouse A Cookie:

Oh The Places You'll Go cupcakes with verses from the book:

Rainbow Fish cake:

I googled and printed various nursery rhyme pictures and taped them to the balloons:

Balloons arranged to look like The Very Hungry Caterpillar with pictures of the birthday boy in a timeline:

And here he is blowing out his candle, a great attempt this year considering last year he just reach up and grabbed the flame then screamed through the song:

And of course he LOVED opening up presents:

Mommy is having a little bit of a hard time letting go of the baby years :*( sniff sniff:

But Daddy says "Bring it on! Now he can play football and wrestle with the boys!"

We had his birthday at our local Chick-fil-a so he was pretty busy playing and "stuff"...you know, doing all the things 2 year olds do. Like stealing random peoples drinks off the table...

And here is the Big Birthday Boy in his handmade vest and bow tie:

Judging by that grin I would venture to say he had a splendid time!

I've decided to start a business....

I have decided to start a children's boutique. I got this notion because of how many tutu and hair bow shops there are, and as a mother of all boys I find there is nearly NOTHING for us. I was going to set out on a mission to sell all boy things but considering most of my friends and family have girls, I have to have "some" girl things as well. I am just trying to get it off the ground for now, first offering accessories, and starting with a facebook page (found here ....so go 'Like" it.) I have so far had a handful of orders and I'm super excited to get the word out and sell more product. Here are some of the things I have so far:

Hand made belts and wrist cuffs:

Belts: $7
Wrist Cuffs: $5

Diaper Wallets:

Diaper Wallet: $10

Bow Ties:

Bow Ties: $6 each

Custom Bible Covers:

Custom Bible Covers: $18
I also have vests for sale, although I do not have pictures yet, and today I am working on taggie pacifier clips, as well as applique shirts. Coming soon: cup/bottle leashes, matching vest/bow tie sets, clothing and apparel, and girls hair bows.

Spread the word!
