What I've been up to...

I havent posted any pictures of the new living room facelife because its still a work in progress, but I have painted a quattrafoil design on the wall you see when you first enter our home. This is a sneak peak of how it turned out, and I love it! That poster is a 16 x 20. I love the way the sepia tone matches the walls.

This is the one Ive been waiting to show you! I do have a big reveal of my sons' room (they all three share) but for now here is a sign I made using my silhouette. Its a quote I saw somewhere once and thought it fit perfectly with my kids vintage transporation themed bedroom. I simply spraypainted a spare board, cut out the wording using the Silhouette on card stock and mod podge'd it to the board. It goes great with the fabric mats I used to frame their vintage car ads. And spiritually I've been up to a lot! God has really been growing me and shaping me into the person He made me. Im doing a Bible Study called The Patriarchs by Beth Moore and its stretching me tremendously. Im starting to see the layers peeled away from my heart like an onion. A new creature in Christ and it sure does feel good! Funny because a few weeks ago we found a catepillar and yesterday it opened into this:
